Because the production of VT outputs share the upper airway with swallowing, perceptually deviant characteristics in the VT outputs have been reported in patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia. This paper is intended to provide clinicians and researchers in dysphagia with a common background of the underlying mechanisms for the production of VT outputs. Further, an analysis of VT outputs is proposed for the assessment of oropharyngeal dysphagia, and expected outcomes are presented.}, pages = {151--163}, title = {Vocal tract outputs with a special reference to oropharyngeal dysphagia}, volume = {1}, year = {2000}, yomi = {カリヤス, マコト and ブランド, ジョン F.} }
