The term metrical aspects refers to prosodic features of the sound stream, particularly stress and durational aspects of word production Recent research on metrical phonology strongly suggests that prosody plays a significant role in decoding the sound stream. This paper also brings together evidence from studies in diverse sub-fields of phonology, such as the phonology of aging and interlanguage phonology, in an attempt to give a more comprehensive picture of phonological processing. It is concluded that there is justification for investigating metrical aspects of the pseudoword repetition paradigm.}, pages = {75--86}, title = {The diagnostic potential of metrical features in the pseudoword repetition task}, volume = {2}, year = {2001}, yomi = {スナイダー, スティーヴン} }
