 note = {The purposes of this study were to investigate behaviour pattern (peculiarity to behaviour) of dementia persons in nursing home. Various assessments (Mini-Mental State examination, Instrumental, Physical self-Maintenance Scale, Brief Psychiatric Rating scale, etc.), 24-hour heart rate and 24-hour direct observation were used on a sample pf 58 dementia persons. The main assessment tool however is the measurement of 24-hour heart rate and through 24-hour direct observation.
As a result, whose it was higher than serious dementia came out about coefficient of awaking variance which became an index, whether to move how much, in the middle dementia and the slight dementia.
Furthermore, when it tries to see a movement for 24-hour by histogram, the slight dementia group that problem behaviour and a mental disorder were hardly seen and the serious dementia group which it is not wanderings were similar to the shape (There are not many differences in heartrate of sleeping and awaking.) of l peak which the limit when bedridden shows.
The maintenance of the physical and human environment which can have relations for the care for the dementia whom “respect for independent dignity” should be necessary small number firmly is probably a pressing need.},
