In this paper, we tried to survey and consider from two points as follows. The first poir.: is to understand the actual conditions and the characteristics of house reform applied with the care insurance and the house reform ubsidy by municipality (Nobeoka ctiy ). The second point is to evaluate) the mobility from a viewpoint of barrier between bedroom and sanitary space in reform. The results are as follows:Sanitary rooms (bathroom and water closet) are mainly space in reforn. The method of reforms is chiefly to install handrails to the wall and eliminate differences in floor levels at entrance. The elderly bedrooms are few reformed because of difficulting to install handrails. In most cases, the elderly bedrooms are away from water closets, and their paths through other roms are not considered to use wheelchair.},
