Though competition and cooperation are seemingly contradictory, they are not always so and they sometimes coexist. Rules of sports differentiate competition from conflict and prevent competition from being overrun by violence. The fair-play spirit make competition more cooperative. And a common characteristic of both competition and cooperation in sport is that they are affected by social, and cultural factors rather than by people's inborn nature or aptitude. Furthermore, competition and cooperation go hand in band, and imbalance between the two causes bad effects.},
