The residents of nursing homes are elderly people with physical and mental handicaps. They have to depend on some case for 'Activities of Daily Living(ADL)'-eating, bathing, toileting, transfer and so on. Therefore, a social worker supporting the daily living of residents must respect their dignity and individual identities. A social worker has help residents adapt to the nursing home, which is new living environment for them.
