Today, however, children have less experience playing outside the house. Behind this trend are the decrease of playground and playtime, the reduction of playing groups, the dissolution of multiage groups, and increase of playing inside the house. These environmental factors have presented various problems with children physically, mentally, and socially. Now, toward such situations, youth sports in local reach new heights of prosperity. Especially, local sports clubs have played important roles. However, youth sports nowadays give priority to winning, and unfortunately minimize self-initiative or self-esteem, pleasure in playing sports. The winning-oriented value is closely linked to the orientation that coaches or adults have in instructing children. Sports are supposed to be neither winning-oriented nor strong-oriented. Enjoyment of sports lies not in the results but the process.
