Each session of the program took two hours, and there were four sessions (eight hours) in total. Ninety university students enrolled in social work practicing. The first session was a lecture and group work in terminal care. Then a care plan was developed from the case study of the previous session. The third session was simulated experience training, and then a care plan based on the simulated experience was developed in the final session. As a result of this program, the subjects realized not only their lack of knowledge and skills for human services but also the importance of support from the view point of the service user. In order to facilitate the training program more effectively, the following three points are proposed; 1. Clarify the concept of death. 2. Develop an effective method for social work practice. 3. Select the proper time and period for the program. The social work practice course, allocated 120hours, is essential for becoming a professional human service worker. Therefore a variety of effective training programs is necessary.
