| 内容記述 | The heavy rain that hit western Japan in July 2018 caused a great loss of victims and property. Museums and cultural properties have also been severely damaged, and relief and preservation activities are being conducted for the damaged materials. Under these circumstances, the activities for saving and preserving photographs are often closely related to the owners themselves, and some activities are carried out by organizations or individuals not based on local governments or universities. Here, rather than highly specialized preservation and restoration technology, a method of preservation possible with familiar materials is required. In this paper, we summarize the measures taken for personal photographs of the victims of the western Japan heavy rain disaster. |
